Since 9/11 we have all be subjected to more security! More metal detectors, machines that puff air on us to detect chemicals, x-ray machines for our shoes, cameras, cameras. And in D.C., we multiply this by a factor of 5 or so. With all the politicians, diplomats, government agencies, and other VIPs in the Nation's capitol there is definitely reason for hightened levels of security. Now if you've been to a sporting event in the last few years you've probably seen some changes in security, and when D.C. built the new Nationals Park security was definitely a factor. But check out these guys who had tickets to the Season Opener but were able to access SECURE areas of the stadium. Rubbing elbows with the elite of Washington D.C.
I find it completely humorous and disturbing all at the same time! These two, unassuming guys, weren't even trying to sneak around the stadium, they just acted like they were supposed to be there and security guards, ushers, and quite possibly even the Secret Service just overlooked them. I'm not saying that seat-jumpers should be the top priority of ushers and security guards at a sporting event, but for two guys with no "Stadium Pass" being able to get virtually everywhere in the stadium and not even be questioned, WOW! These guys obviously enjoyed their run through the stadium and their story should definitely get the attention of a few people in the Nats organization and many others as well!
For their performance I give these guys a 10!
